KRAL Calibration Service.
Each KRAL flowmeter is tested and calibrated on our factory test stand. Two types of calibrations are available. First, there is the KRAL factory calibration method, which is our standard, and the alternative is calibration in compliance with the internationally acknowledged standard ISO/IEC 17025.
ILAC, International Association of Accreditation Bodies in the Field of Laboratory Accreditation, is an organisation whose members represent over 70 countries and regional organisations. The worldwide accreditation bodies have signed an agreement (ILAC Mutual Recognition Arrangement MRA) which creates an international framework and improves the acceptance of products and services across national borders. This means that products and services do not have to be re-tested each time a new market is entered. ILAC's aim is to implement the principle of "once tested, accepted everywhere". The combined ILAC MRA mark makes the international recognition status transparent. KRAL is entitled to use the mark on accredited calibration certificates.
Calibration according to ISO/IEC 17025 features the following services:
- Accredited calibration upon request only.
- 7-point linearization.
- Specification of the average K-factor based on the measured upper 5 points.
- Traceability to national standards.
- Specification of measurement uncertainty of national standard to test unit.
